The San Miguel Chiang Mai International cricket sixes hold their competition every year in April, funding junior cricket, they have just completed their 22nd year with a wonderful and entertaining week of sixes cricket, with the Sawasdee cricket tournament running along side. This year they had entries from 3 new schools

The Sawasdee cricket team played their first competive game at the 2009 Chiang Mai San Miquel sixes, the team finished a very creditable second in the main competition finishing above to two other schools, who's players had much more cricket playing and tournament experience, one girl, Amee played for the team, Amee (photo bottom right) did so well she was chosen to play for the Thai pixies in the actual ladies competition of the Chiang Mai International cricket sixes, not too bad seems she had played cricket less than 2 months and is only 11 years old!! In fact the team performed extremely well, although a few of the boys were a little over the excepted age limit for the competition but due to the lack of cricket experience were allowed to play.
