The Chiang Mai under 15 cricket league was founded in October 2008 and aims to give the Chiang Mai province youngsters the chance to play 15 overs per team hardball cricket in a league format using the Gymkhana club and the Prem International school as venues. This season we have increased the teams in the competition from 3 to 6 teams. The league is a natural step up from the very successful Sawasdee program which has being running in Chiang Mai since 2000, cricket in Thailand especially in Chiang Mai is a fast developing sport.
If you would more information about the Chiang Mai school cricket foundation, go to the CMSCA website.

San Miguel have supported and funded junior cricket in Chiang Mai for many years and without their support, many children in Chiang Mai would never have had the opportunity to play this great game.
We urgently require cricket equipment...If you have any used and servicable cricket kit that you like to donate to us, we have 8 schools in need of hardball equipment and around 70 kids playing with more ready soon. |
